Location of installation

Thermocouple temperature measurement point selection should be representative, can not be placed in the test medium flow area.
Depth of insertion
Thermocouple installation, it should be immersed in the medium under test, and have a certain depth of immersion. In general, when using metal protective tube, insert depth should be 15 ~ 20 times its diameter; When non-metallic protective tubes are used, the insertion depth shall be 10 to 15 times the diameter thereof.
Action of heat radiation
In the vicinity of the thermocouple if there is a large object with a certain temperature difference, the thermocouple will accept radiation energy. So that the temperature of the medium under test is significantly changed, and a radiation shield can be used to bring the temperature closer to the gas temperature, i.e. a shielded thermocouple.
The role of compensation wires
